At 56 years old I’ve been living with a man who comes home every night and doesn’t run around. I work full time, take care of my dad 3 days a week and take care of all the household duties for my partner and myself. I am also the bill payer, secretary, gardener etc… he’s a nice guy but had started to complain about me not fulfilling my ‘wifey’ duties instead of offering to help me. I had enough and started to pull away. After big arguments he would throw me out of the house then apologize the next day and want me back. I desire the partnership and he desires the submissive woman without providing to pay my bills. It’s my fault to make the choices I have to continue and set the standard for him. I need to get my head on straight and Stephan’s books. 🙏

Constantly apologizing for their actions toward me and don’t understand an apology without change behavior is manipulation. I’m praying that God doesn’t want that for me because I’m not taking neither of them back! The crazy part they both are in relationships, 😂. My ex husband enjoyed his freedom when we broke up and didn’t want the relationship anymore. It’s not a real connection between us!

So, I went to look your book up on Audible and it’s there. As I’m reading 📖 the description I see Songs of Solomon 8:4, 😳! Wow this is so true and I’m only at number 2. I met this man felt love for him I Never felt before and it was a spiritual love and things went left. Once I asked God what was happening between me and this guy and His response was, “Do not awaken love before it’s time,” Songs of Solomon 8:4!He continues to say that to me, even this morning 😂. It will be 2 years I’ve known this man in July. Being a man’s peace = CODEPENDENCY. Signed, an actually psychotherapist. I didn’t want to click on the link because I usually don’t listen to single men telling women what they need to do to date and make a man commit. It’s like listening to a heart expert who studies the great for 13 years but never committed to becoming a cardiologist. But y’all are really listening to an uncommitted “coach” telling you how to treat a man packaged as “coaching” without knowing his credentials. What he’s talking about is synonymous to the magazines of the 50s during a time that women couldn’t get a credit card without being married. This is why this is cringy. You can be a couples therapist and not be married because therapy is at least clinical. But a single coach with no credentials and no knowledge of his background is just as dangerous as listening to a heart expert who only studied the heart through Google who marketed himself as a heart doctor but never went to medical school. Ladies- find a good therapist, create and stick to your boundaries, and take your power back. Until you see his background and credentials stop being impressed with how he makes you feel. We already saw what happened with the other “expert.”

I was led to block him, 8-9 months ago. Because he will randomly text me and i will be so excited I would call him and he will say I’ll call you back. But will call me back a month later 😅 it was repetitive, i broke his heart by the way. (5 years ago) n yet I still miss him and love him.Point is i needed to block him due to the small effort on his side, i had to learn how to forgive myself also, i had to respect my boundaries as well as my standards. I will say i let it go, but was doing things my way instead of truly letting God take over. So i blocked him and will trust for God to do the rest. I think when people "do too much" is almost like people are "auditioning for a role" or "applying for a job". It shouldn't be like that. It's like they're trying to prove themselves. That sounds like WORK to me. I wish I would (sarcastically and jokingly-LOL) cook, clean, do a man's laundry, give him money, etc. for a dude that isn't MY man... NOT!! I ain't Florence (from The Jefferson's or Alice from The Brady Bunch! ) LOL. However, I do think it's okay to assist once in a blue moon if that's what a women wants to do. She just needs to make sure her motives are right. 2. I think what really matters is not what you to "for the person" (chores) but more so " how do they make you feel" (with a genuine/loving/sincere heart). 3. I'm a huge believer in just being myself! I'm definitely an expressive! I love sharing my thoughts and showing affection! That's one of my strengths! Not a fan of phoniness or pretending. SO I'm confident in that area. Again, another great video! In the meanwhile, I'm growing, learning, preparing, improving myself! I just want to be a better person, teammate, lover, future wife etc.

I asked him what his vision was, he didn't have one. I asked for more of his time (one evening in the week rather than just the weekend) he said no, I heard him say 'go with the flow', I asked him about his view on marriage and he said he would if his partner needed it....I said lets just to get to know each other as people and see what happens, no commitment and got rid of the date I put in place to arrive at a decision if we wanted to get into a 'relationship' and he agreed. I am letting him go....
